Together with you, The Better Block Foundation, Hazelwood Initiative, Greater Hazelwood Community Collaborative, the Center of Life, and the Richard King Mellon Foundation are collaboratively working to re-envision the possibilities and connections in Hazelwood. This temporary demonstration is free and will be open to the public on October 26 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at 4915 Second Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

 

This community-led placemaking event aims to inspire residents to creatively transform an empty lot via activation to imagine what it could be in the future. Anticipated enhancements include seating, art installations, and new opportunities for community gatherings.

The objective is to experiment with ideas, gather feedback, and integrate community input to shape a more vibrant and inviting Hazelwood. Our collective goal is to create a dynamic environment where residents can live, work, and come together as a thriving community.
