Event located on White Way in East Point, GA
April 23-24, 2022
Saturday: 5PM-9PM
Sunday: 11AM - 3PM
Microsoft and The Better Block are excited to support the historic community of East Point, working alongside residents and small businesses to re-envision and reimagine White Way's public space through a 2-day, community-led placemaking event. With over 300 survey responses from locals, this project will demonstrate the community's vision for White Way, redistributing space for cars and people, supporting the foodie scene, and bringing art, music, vendors, and activities to the block. This event will reflect the unique and diverse culture of East Point, create conversation, and engage the neighborhood in curating a playful space for the community to socialize and relax.
We hope to see you at one of our many volunteer workshops or catch you in one of the many outdoor dining parklets popping up. If you'd like to get involved, please reach out to the Project Manager, Kristin Leiber at kristin@betterblock.org.
