BETTER BLOCK UNIVERSITY

Over six months, this group will be guided by a Better Block curriculum, centered around our community-powered urban design process to re-activate neighborhoods. Equipped with this knowledge, they will each design and implement a mini Better Block project envisioned under the scope of public safety. We look forward to 15 seeing their ideas come to life!

What is BBU?

A leadership program designed to empower community leaders, catalyze impactful projects focused on public safety, and equip individuals with the tools and knowledge to create lasting, positive change in their neighborhoods.

Whom are we looking for?

Individuals must be passionate about improving their communities and have actionable ideas for improvement. We are not looking for specific degrees or professional qualifications; rather, we are seeking people who care deeply about their neighborhoods and are ready to take action. Five spots are dedicated to North Texans; the other 10 are for anyone in the U.S.
