This how-to-build a plaza guide is based on the Akron Better Block project that took place in the spring of 2015. The concept shown was developed to show how to rapidly transform a vacant parking lot into a plaza, inspired by the Italian community that lived in the surrounding neighborhood and taking cues from plazas developed in throughout Italy.
